W3G started life as a one-off gig — a single set at BunkFest in 2021. The chemistry was instant, the crowd loved it, and by the end of the night we knew this wasn't a one-time thing. Chris joined on drums, locking in with Neil (guitar), Andrew (bass) and Dan (keys) to give us a rhythm section with real punch. Add the lovely Anne on sax, and the close three-part harmonies of Clare, Suzie and Trish on vocals, and W3G was born. Clare and Trish had already spent years singing together in other bands — so meeting a group of musicians this talented felt like fate, not coincidence. The result is a sound built on tight musicianship and genuine chemistry: melodic sax lines, funky-tight rhythm section, and harmonies that only come from years of singing together. We play the soul, funk and disco classics you know and love — plus a few crowd-pleasing curveballs — all wrapped up in one feel-good, party-starting setlist.
